Miami Mother Charged With Child Neglect

Late last week, a woman from North Miami Beach, Florida was charged on nine counts, two of which included child neglect. Why? The woman, Rosaline Jean-Baptiste, was involved in an automobile accident, and she had not buckled up her three-year old daughter or her eighteen month-old son.

Colorado police officer charged with child abuse after he tasered at least 34 children who were attending a high school career fair. Although it is believed that the children were actually soliciting the tasering from the police officer, district attorney Hurlbert believes that police officer Ortega was still in the wrong and the district will go ahead and continue pressing charges.
